I will be teaching another class in August or September I am looking for an indoor arena to use for us and as long as we are able to have bigger gatherings I am planning on doing a class of 10. Leave me a message below if you are interested and I will send you an email when I have a date and location confirmed.
I have been doing equine bodywork for about 17 years now. I love teaching owners how to help make their horse feel better in between sessions. I have seen a need for years in this area for more opportunitities for people to have more knowledge and more experience with hands on so they can have the confidence to help their horses.
I am putting together a basic equine body work class that anyone will be able to learn and every horse will benefit from. I am keeping classes small ( 5-7) so you can get more one on one help learning the technique. My next class will be bigger when the reopening phases are over.
The main points that we will be going over are
This is a great class if you are interested in learning some basics to help with your horse(s) perform better or if have an issue you are wanting to work on with your own horse. This is also a wonderful way to bond with your horse at a different level and in a different way than when riding.
Even though I have studied both massage and chiropractic and both skills will be talked about. I will be teaching soft tissue manipulations during this class. There is no certification or certificates handed out and this is for you and your horses best interest.
After the class is over you will be given a voucher to have a free micro current session done on one horse of your choice! I will talk more about benefits of adding microcurrent to bodywork session at the end of the class.
How much is that Class
$200
Price for the class in the fall will have to be redetermined when I find an arena to use.
Next Class is
August or September 2020
What time does class start?
Class starts at 9 am
Where is the class held?
Location will be in Idaho Falls or surrounding area
How long is the class?
Usually 4 to 5 hours it can be shorter and it can go longer.
Do I need to bring my horse?
No there will be horses available to work practice on. I have found that when people bring their own horses to class they are more worried about fixing their horse and the dont learn as much.
I paid for my spot and now I cant make it to class is there a refund?
Yes there is a $25 fee to refund money back to you though.
If you have to cancel 1 day before the class I will refund you half tuition. ( $100.00)
What do I need to bring with me?
If you are a note taker bring a notepad and a pen.
What do I need to wear?
Dress in layers we do live in Idaho. We will be outside. I do prefer it if you have pants and boots on since you will be right up next to horses.
How old do I need to be?
The cost of the class is per person so if you have a minor that is interested you can sign them up as well. You will have to sign a waiver for the minor releasing all liability. If you have a minor that is interested and you are not they can still come. But you will have to come in the morning and sign the waiver before they can work on any horses.
I will have some water and healthy snacks but if you have a diet restriction I recommned you bring your own with you.
Lunch will aslo provided! But again if you have a dietary restriction you should probaly plan bringing your own.
Class for June 13kth for is full! I am working on a date for end of august or middle of september. If you are interested in taking that class leave your name number and email and when I have dates and more information for that class I will email you with the date before I open the clas to the public!
If you have further questions you may submit your information below or call/text me.
